OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Dan, as for Richard's new "hardware", I guess he had a lot a free time while at sea this past summer! lol My corpsman still has his two from boot camp!
I was told that the sea warfare and the other one he has are easy to get while at sea. Where else can you go, but read, study and get the signatures!

Hey Dan, I'm really glad to find another Dad here. It's tough to find active Dad's on the Mom's or the Dad's site for most subjects. Navy Dad's has a lot of Nuke group members but not much else for my situation, at least yer.
I am really close to my son and want all the info I can get.
Good to meet you. How's it going for Dan? Where is his school located?
