Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

No I haven't seen the website. What boot camp website are you talking about?! I am excited to meet you tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be there close to on time. We're leaving around 1am so that should get us there around 6pm, provided we don't make many stops. See you tomorrow. Safe travels.

Thanks for the friend request. Yeah, we are driving out late tomorrow evening and will arrive barely in time for Sarges, but we'll be there. I see you are in Denver, we are up north in Fort Collins. Have a safe trip. I look forward to meeting you.

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. Start with OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and read 1 or 2 pages a day and then go back to them as you need the info. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

If you can ever meet us, please let me know.

You are very welcome.

Make change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

I see you have joined Aerographers Mate- AG - Moms; you'll also want to join A SCHOOL, BILOXI, MS and check out Airman Family and Friends. You can also check out the Keesler Air Force Base Facebook Page. The Rating Information Card for AG can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/ag.pdf. Your then Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend once you get the form letter.
