Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Are you plan on attending PIR? I know we're going Just not for sure if we're driving or flying
I'm glad you've heard from him and he's doing well. I'm looking forward to a phone call from my SR this weekend. One of the other SR in his DIV called home for some info and told his mom that they SHOULD be making their calls Saturday. So, I"ll be glued to the phone tomorrow!! Hoping, wishing and praying!!

I see you've got the letter today! I got mine as well! My SR ship 14 DIV 161 . sounds like they're not together.We all wrote him a letter and ready to get it in the mail tomorrow.
Have you looked on the Recruit Training Command facebook page? They have several pic up. I didn't see my SR in any of them.
No, I didn't get anything today! I saw a few post that mom's were getting them. I was hoping when I got home I would have mine too. So sad looking into a empty mail box.

I too am waiting for my son's address letter. He left last Wednesday, I got my "Mom, I am here" call at 12:45 am Thrusday morning. When did your son leave?
