Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

How are you doing?  I had a comment from you about the questionnaire, but I can't find it now.  If you go to the PIR 7/13/12 page look at the discussion forums.  One of them says Boot Camp Questionnaire.  There's a link to a page with a lot of them.  I just downloaded one and took off questions and added some.

Hi littlelang,

We live in Arizona.  My son was living in Denver and enlisted there so I didn't get to see him off.  I haven't done anything about reservations -- do you think I should do it now?  I was born in Cincy & grew up in Indianapolis -- so while we are back for PIR we are going to visit family.  I'm so excited for my son.  Have you been reading the link about what happens week by week?  It's amazing what all they do!
