OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thank you for the friend request. Welcome to Molly's Adopt A Sailor! For more information on packing, etc, go to Molly's group page and click on "New Moms Read First." Here's what we do:

1. Our monthly adoption is announced on the first of the month.

2. Many moms sew pillowcases and we send one to each adoptee (as long as we have Command approval) This group is call "We Stitch Love."

3. We also support combat hospitals by sending them thing they need each month. This is called "Special Hugs'.

Does that make things clearer? Feel free to ask questions! Pat

Hi! You are now a member of "MAS We Ship Love." This is where Molly's Adopt A Sailor keeps the addresses for our adoptions. This provides a little security for our contacts.

You need to go to "Molly's Adopt A Sailor project" and join. That is where all the moms communicate and you will find the monthly adoption information. Right now we are shipping to the Oct. adoptees. On Nov. 1, our Christmas adoption will be announced. It is going to be a fun one!

If you need help or have questions, please send me a message.

On another note, I hope your nephew is one of the kids we will feed for Thanksgiving dinner at the Villa Park VFW!!

Thanks for joining us. Pat
