Hi!  Yes, my oldest son is in the Marines, currently stationed in Okinawa.  I always knew he would serve in the military, but it was a real surprise when my SR (my youngest son) said he was going to join the Navy.  Totally caught me off guard, but I was so proud and so happy for him!  My SR seems to be doing great, his letters all sound so positive, and I am SO READY TO SEE HIM ON 9/23!!!  So you have 1 Marine and 1 Navy?

Thank you for adding me as a friend! You are my first official friend here! :) I see you are from Norco. We (my husband, children, & myself moved here (MT) from Orange County.

I just received my first "real" letter from my daughter today (not including the form letter 2 weeks ago). It was such a joy to read, that I have read it 3 times already! Have you received a letter yet? I do hope you have.

Have a great evening!

Hi and thank you for the friend request (neighbor). My son is in Div. 945. I have a lot of questions regarding the tickets for graduation. Do you know anything about it? I heard we only get 4 tickets (one per person) but then when my son was leaving his Chief told us that any number of people can attend? I'm so confused and it's getting to be a battle on my side because his father and I are divorced and I don't want my son to worry about this.

Hi,

I still haven't heard from my son. I am starting to worry about him. No letter or call. He just graduated from high school in June, and has never been out on his own. He has been so excited about boing in Navy. I just hope he is okay. I live in Ca. too.

Hi Momof3.  I noticed that your daughter arrived in GL on 7/27 and that you are from Norco, CA.  Did your daughter leave from the San Diego MEPS?  If so, she may have been on the flight with my son, Evan!

Hi Momof3.  I really hope that his PIR is 9/16.  I will just hope until i receive form letter from my son.  But that would be great, see him sooner that I was told.
