Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

What is your Sailor's rating (job/occupational specialty) and where is he stationed (what vessel, if one)? There may be groups I can direct you to if you would like them.

He won't be getting much sleep tonight. You should be getting the "I'm here!" call as long as he took a cell phone. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and Phone Cards and Phone Calls.

Join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in May, to connect with others with loved ones who left the same day and may have PIR together. I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening.

You will receive the address in The Form Letter about 10 days after he arrived at the RTC. Letters must have the Ship and Division numbers in order to reach your recruit. Wait on The Form Letter before sending letters.  See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC to know what is happening and what to expect.
