Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Hi Austin's Mom, I received Kaylas box on Tuesday and got her form letter on Thursday. She is in Ship 11 Division 396. Its getting a little easier now that I am able to send all her letters out to her. I send Kayla a phone card so when she is able to call she can.. How are you doing? I know it early but have you booked you hotel yet.. I was able to get a good deal with Navy Lodge which is only 1 miles away from BC and they do provide shuttle to base.

Hi Austin's Mom, I am so happy to hear that you heard from your son. I have not yet heard from my daughter Kayla.. She left on August 20, 2013 so i am not sure when she able to make another call.. I am still waiting for her box.. I am hoping it comes soon so i can send her all the letters i already wrote to her and her phone card so she is able to call me when she can.. Yesterday was the first Sunday that I had attended church without her and it was hard.. We had group prayer so that helped me and my husband alot. I pray that this gets easier. Julie

Hi Austin'smom

   My son Aidan's ship 03 div 377.

I received his phone call this weekend  but was not home, he did however leave a message and spoke briefly to his Aunt. My sister (his Aunt)  who was able to speak with my son said he sounds great and is really enjoying his experience in boot camp. I just booked my airfare for PIR , I cannot wait to be there so proud.
