Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hey Marilee !!! How's your daughter doing ? Heard from rumour mill that they got it rough over there at NAS... Is she OK ? I sure hope so.. is she happy ? I will go on fb and yak at her.. But miss talking to you !!!! i still get emails when someone goes on the old web site for PIR 04/9/10.. LOL... (oh, I was pissed when I saw my daughter post that dag gone nasty picture of herself) told her get it the HECK off..

Hi there ! you go to the Pensacola site for NAS & Corry Station ? My daughter is at Corry Station so she not with all her buds !! :( oh lord... LOL she asked you to go to her facebook.
I don't even know how to do that thing.. she made one for me but I'm never on it! I mailed her 4 boxes 2day of junk ... cell, jeans, camera .. said not her lap top yet... cost me fortune..
but they don't do overnite delivery so I'm sure I'll hear crap !! LOL .. wish she was with her friends. dang

Hey Marilee, did you say your daughter arrived on the 16th. I just got a PIR date but it looks like a lot of them arrived on the 9th. I am still trying to figure this thing out. It is late and I still haven't written a letter to my son, although I have no place to send it yet, I am writing them anyway.

Enjoy what time you can with her. If at all possible go watch her swear in. It is pretty neat. The hard part was watching her board a bus with all the other recruits and pull away.

Hi and welcome. My dad used to insure the old Chrysler plant up your way many years ago. Be sure and look up under the groups tab and find Boot Camp Mom's. Lots of information and encouragement.
