You can advertise your Navy Active Pouches on this Page, but you can't post a Blog or discussion about them. Others can send people to this page to find out more about them, but you can't actively advertise elsewhere on the site.
Michael just left this AM,, as we dropped him off at the recruiters. It was one of the hardest things I've had to do as a parent, knowing he is gone for good, esp. being on Active Duty. We"ll only see him from now on when he comes home on leave. Thats a hard concept to swallow since he's lived at home his entire 23 years. It's something I'll have to adjust too, but it will take time & I know in time it will get easier, but at the moment it's really hard. Thanks for listening. Linda
Thank you for your encourging words, it helps knowing I am not alone & that we are all in the same boat, no pon intended! Lindagirl
There is nothing that involves your Sailor and you until PIR, but you can attend one of the Meet and Greets the night before PIR and get together with others with loved ones at the RTC. I suggest that you attend Sarge's since he will have a lot of good info for you, PIR 11/09/2012 SARGE'S MEET AND GREET (clicakable link). There will be 2 others, one at the Ramada Inn and one at Flanagan's, but they have not been posted yet.

Hi Mary!
I hate to sound rediculous, but "you just cope". Everyone here will tell you that! Hang in there.... it only gets better after it'feels like he**. But keep remembering you can handle it! You can! Chin up.
