OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
the most important thing to remember is that the learning never stops, because just when you think you have got things down they change again.

Thank you, I found it. I know what you mean about the area. We are from AR and it's so different here. It takes a while to learn the area and a gps is really helpful, I still use mine when I have to go somewhere out of Virginia Beach lol.
