OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son graduated in September, I remember the most exciting time was during the pass in review (PIR) ceremony, when the "garage door" opens up.  The crowd goes WILD!

If you have any questions, I'd love to help.  I'm a Navy veteran myself.

Please like my group on facebook LINK, I'm just starting out and would love the support.

I also support “calls for recruits” from products sold on ETSY if you order soon I ship next day!

If you are traveling, wishing you a safe journey.

If you can't travel; be sure to watch the video link, it's the next best thing.

If you make that change, you will also want to delete the comment below where a member referred to you by your former Username. (You can also delete my comment about making the change.)

Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." I see that you have changed your Username so that it no longer contains your last name; you also need to change the URL to this page to remove it from there as well. Number 2 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link) will tell you how to fix that. There may be other changes you will want to make as well, such as number 3.

I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
