Hey! I've been good! :) It HAS been awhile haha, what have you been up to?! I saw your post about having your guy back next weekend! AHHH! ^_^ I'm so happy for you! LOL, mine still has a looong way to go, but we're in the process of planning out a weekend for me to fly over to SC to see him in 5 weeks!

No no call yet. He said they  battle stations tonight so to keep my phone close tomorrow! I got to speak with him for an hour and 30 minutes on Saturday :)!... He is really excited about friday! Do you have a facebook page?

Aww! That's so cute that he wants to "do things right" and you guys are talking about marriage! :) We brought it up the other day too, which is KIIINDA crazy 'cause we've only been together for 4 months, but he says he doesn't believe in being with someone for more than 2 or 3 years and not be married. sooo who knows what will happen? lol

Your brother's story does sound a bit like mine. We were really good friends for a long time but were with someone else, then before he left, we finally admitted it to each other xD

Oh, how exciting! Hope your first job experience is more interesting than mine was hahaha. I worked at Legoland as my first job -__- Lesson learned, theme parks are SO much more exciting when you're not there every day. Where are you planning on working?!

Oh wow! I pray for him daily and thank you for doing so also! :).. He is in division 203. Mail day is Thursday or Friday, I am in Florida and for some reason it takes a while to get here!

He had achilles tendinitis. How close to graduation is battle stations. He graduates next Friday so would it be this week or next week? And Facebook really??? How do they get access to that lol!!! I haven't seen him on Facebook in over 2 months so that will be awesome to see write on my wall! I am sooo excited. The only thing that sucks is that he wont have a cell phone until he gets a school and I can ship it to him. :(

Yea I know he told me that some were there for over 8 months! My sweetie said he was determined to get better to get back home to me! :) I am sooo proud of him. Usually people with his injury spends atleast 4 weeks in RCU. So we were so blessed that he made it out of there... When did you get your " I'm a sailor" call after battlestations and how long was it?

At 10:24pm on June 19, 2012, Mandisa-R said…

His original grad date was June 15th! :(

Yea I hate it too. I wish we could all just get along. And next year is great if you both are ready no need to rush. We are aiming for a wedding date March 10th. I will be 28 by and he'll be turning 25 five days after the wedding so we will be celebrating his bday on our honeymoon. I am starting to get really anxious about his graduation... The only thing that sucks is that he wont have a phone. I talked to his sister today and she said that their parents might not be there either which makes me feel horrible that no one will be there for him.  :(.. When you were there did you see any sailors who didn't have any family at graduation?

Yeah, I don't think I would have been ready to move in with my boyfriend if we were just getting out of high school either. Lol, it's cute that his family loves you enough to want you guys to be married! That's adorable! :)

But yeah, I feel old haha, moving in with him doesn't scare me the least bit like it would have 3 years ago >_< He's 22 and I'm about to be 21, and by the time he'll be in Prototype, I think moving with him to New York would be so exciting! He says he wants to end up with me, so who knows?! Maybe we'll both be back here in a few years with pictures too! :P

Do you know if they have any other graduations? Like besides PIR? Any plans for your FIRST summer out of high school!?

At 2:48pm on June 15, 2012, Mandisa-R said…

No I can't the notice was too short. :( :( :(.. The cheapest ticket is $400 and the times are crazy. The ticket that can accommodate my schedule is almost $600. That is way too high for my budget. Plus his family and I are not in good standings.  So I guess it is for the best. I wont be able to go to see him in A school because by the time he phases up to be allowed to sleep off base he'll be home a week or two later. So We will just have to skype until he gets back... I am not worried.  Today marks 2 months since I've seen him. I know I can survive 2 more months, once he gets out of boot camp we will be able to communicate and see him so it will make it easier. Plus I start summer classes July 2nd. So lots going on for both of us... Once he gets back we are going out of town for a few days. We are planning a beach wedding in the neighborhood in Miami where I grew up. So I am going to take him there for the weekend to meet my family down there and check out the surroundings. :).. September please hurry up and get here! Have you guys talked anymore about wedding plans?
