My son is also on this Ship and in this Division. The letters I get talk a lot about the food - how good it is! Crazy but he is a young man with a hearty appetite. Hope your son is doing well in bc. Tommy had to get his wisdom teeth taken out a few weeks back - we received a few goofy letters (being on bed rest gave him a lot of time to write). Take care.

p.s. What exactly does this "Grad and Go" mean? Tommy said he can only hang out with us on Friday - he stays there in Great Lakes for his school. This seems odd to me.

Hi, my wife is going to be graduating on June 4th and headed for pensicola florida as a ABH. How long does it take for them to class up? i'm concerned because I hear some people wait as long as six months.... she should be in school for 6 weeks which would be a huge diffrence in the time she would be there :( any insight?

Hi Theresa, Oh yes, A School is so much better. Daniel is really liking Charleston. Even though his classes won't start until May, he's liking having his own room. He'll have a roommate eventually but right now he's by himself. He got an infection in his leg at boot camp so he has to get up at 5am every morning to go get it dressed and cleaned but it's getting better fast. He said they work 5 hours a day and then get the rest of the time off. They go hiking a lot. He has Facebook so I'm always asking questions. I think he's tired of all the questions I ask. :-). We're planning on taking a weekend trip over there in May. I'm glad you get to hear from David. It sure is a lot better being able to hear from them.

Hey Theresa, it sure was great to meet you and then see you at the Navy Pier. :-)
It was such a wonderful ceremony and weekend, I'll always remember it. We've already heard from Daniel and he's liking Charleston. I hope everything is working out for David, keep in touch and let me know how he does.

Hi Theresa, my son is in SHIP 03, DIV 142. I've gotten 3 letters from him. His bunk mate told him about this site for moms and he told me about it in his letter. Great site for moms to get support. My son is doing great, had his wisdom teeth pulled last week. He said their division is really improving. He passed his inspections and test.
