OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Allexsmom Welcome to navyformoms .Well the first thing you can expect is the box. Unless of course if your son decided to donate is clothes.. That in itself is hard to swallow.next will come the form letter. That will give you his address  along with his PIR date which is his graduation. If you are lucky enough, you may get a little  note from your SR (sailor recruit. Hang in there. This is the best website you can be at this time. All my best to you and your SR!!!!!!!!!
