7/17: Third day at A school, and I am getting pretty used to being able to talk to him everyday! Now, I'm just waiting to be able to live with him again! I cannot wait =]
7/15: Learned that he qualifies as a permanent resident, and therefore can apply to be "brown bagged", or live off base in civilian terms. Which means I can live with him!! So happy, such great news!
7/15: I drove to the airport at 12:30am, and was able to spend the time with him until he boarded his flight. The goodbye was pretty hard though.
7/14: He had an extra day until his plane left, so we were able to spend all of Saturday together!
7/13: Graduated Boot Camp!! It was an amazing experience to see him again after so long! We spent the entire day within arms length of each other
7/11 (pt2): I am now married to a SAILOR!! He called about 4pm to tell me that he and his division had passed Battle Stations =] I was able to talk for about 50 minutes! I also handed off the phone to his mother and father in that time. Cannot wait to see him on Friday! I also get him all day Saturday, as he isn't leaving until Sunday!! Also, his division made Hall of Fame! Great job 219! And I am very proud of my husband!
7/11: Just got the last letters Trey will send from boot camp! He passed his final PFA! He sounded so good =] and definitely ready to be out of there! I am waiting on his phone call today to tell me he's a sailor! Oh, my stomach is in knots!!
7/7: Captain's Cup was today....and we're all still waiting on the winner to be posted!
7/5: Anxiously anticipated letters arrived today! I was hoping there would be Battle Station info, but he didn't mention it. Div 219 is still on track to being a Hall of Fame division! I am so proud of my husband! And glad there's one week left!! Pheww.
6/27: More letters! His division was allowed to write last Sunday as well as an earned letter writing on Thursday, because they're doing so well during Hell Week! Go 219!!
6/23: Surprise letter today! Made my day =]
6/20: Letter day! He sounds like he's doing really well! He loved the postcard I sent...the front was a picture of our son smiling the biggest smile!
6/18: I got a phone call! 20 minutes of talking time =]... I could not be happier. In the back of my mind I was wishing all day that he'd get a phone call on Father's Day. He sounded great!
6/13: Got my letters! He sounds like he's doing so much better! Which is a relief, he sounded pretty upset and homesick in the first batch of letters. He's adjusting to life in boot camp. I guess his biggest problem is his attention to detail. I could have guessed ;)
6/12: Saw a picture of my husband on the Navy RTC's Facebook page! It's the back of his head, but just as thrilled! Some mothers of recruits in my husband's division received calls today. Still waiting. Hopefully letters tomorrow!
6/6: Letters from my homesick husband!...Still waiting for the box.
6/2: Have yet to receive "the box" and hoping for a letter soon too! Definitely no phone calls yet... No news is good news, right?
5/29: Found out PIR date 7/13/12, along with ship and division. Short note written on the back of the PIR info packet! I was so thankful to read just five sentences he wrote!!

Love the sailor suits. My boys had them too!
Congratulations are your husband's great achievement. My husband is retired Navy and we just sent our son off to bootcamp 03 July 2012. The Navy life is a good life and sometimes the alone time for the family can be tough, but the reunions are very special and all the new adventures at each duty station are amazing. Wishing all the best for you and your family.
Do you by any chance know when our guys go through BS21?
I thought so too! I am counting them days down...i just love getting letters from him!!
His graduation is July 20th i can't wait!!!!! He proposed to me in a letter so we are now engaged!!
Heyy hows everything going????? When's your husband graduation??
I'm hoping that I'm wrong that seems way to long for me!! I'm already checking on how much it will cost to fly out to Texas. now I'm counting down the days until we see him I cant wait I'm sure you cant either. I'm glad you got to talk to him that helped me a lot but then I was sad because I didn't know when I would be able to talk to him again.
Hi, I know I also count down the days. The first week was the worst to not have any communication with my SR was really hard for me when I was used to talking to him everyday. He will go to San Antonio for fourteen weeks yuck! but at least I will be able to talk to him and we are planning on flying out there at least twice we also have a six year old and he is very close to his big brother he is really having a hard time with his brother being in BC. I get a letter every week I love going to the mail box in the middle of the week now!
You have a nice looking family. My SR is my son who will be turning twenty in BC. I know right what a bum deal being in there on your B-day. I don't know about you but this group is helping me to deal with the waiting. My SR said the time is going fast I hope its the same for your SR.
You are very welcome, karianne!
