it is great that they have some other sailors that they are able to continue in contact with from their division.  I know that he really bonded with several guys and misses seeing them as he is aclimating to his new routine. :)  Hopefully they are able to hang out periodically, and how are you doing with the "new norm"

Hi Kristine, Our son and your brother were in the same division together and I believe now in A school together:)  I saw your brothers name on our son's facebook wall....is your brother going to be training to be a DC in Navy?

We would love to be able to support your brother as well...I see you guys are from NY- we are from Michigan.  Praying for our guys

Yes, Kristine..we heard the news about the tragedy with the firefighters in your area.  Our prayers are with all that are involved and the families in your community.  Our country is certainly hurting these days..ray of sunshine knowing that our sailors are seeking to make a  difference.

Have been keeping your brother in my prayers along with my son and the other sailors all day today as we are trying to get some semblance of organization to our after Christmas stuff.  Realizing that keeping busy keeps my mind busy and helps with the missing :]  Keep us posted on how things are going

Congratulations on you engagement. Yes I received the letter yesterday. I didn't get any notes but was glad to finally get an address so I could send letters to him. This has been very hard, not talking to him everyday.

Kristine,

Hi.  My name is Leni and my son is on ship 12.  He arrived in Great Lakes on Dec. 4th.  Missing him a lot, but am so proud.
