Don't have a date yet for 209/210, but they should be going during PIR week, early on.  Let me know if you hear of a date from your SR!

The address should be SHIP 04 DIV 2341, 3600 Ohio Street, Great Lakes, IL 60088-7103.  They will forward any letters written to his previous Ship.  With him being sent to the RCU this early in training, he should go to a new division once he is determined to be fit for duty, and if so, he will be given a new PIR date at that time.  He will have several weeks in the RCU, which will include PT.  Once that is completed, he will join a division at the point that they believe he is ready to enter it, generally around the same day in training that he was removed from the former division.

I saw your post asking about 8 weeks.  The typical time at the RTC is 8 1/2 weeks, but it could be from 7 to 10 weeks depending on when his division formed.  Actual training time is about 6 weeks and begins once P-Days are finished and the division is filled. You may hear about DOT (Day of Training); that begins with Week 1 Day 1 (1-1 DOT) on the weekday following the completion of P-Days.  Weekends and holidays are not counted in DOT although your SR most likley will still have some training on those days, but there are 5 days in each week.

Your son's PIR date is June 22 because he was most likely one of the first in his division and was held over a week.  There are other reasons that would cause a recruit to be held in P-Days; and if it is other than what I indicated, your SR will let you know when he writes.
