Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi, Happy to be your N4M friend. Looks like our Son's are in the same group.  Do you know how many of them are in a specific ship/division?  I am learning so much on here, but much more to learn.  I assume they get pretty close with those in their group. You Son and mine look like they are close in age.  My Son, David, just truned 19 and graduated HS this past June.  This is all kind of crazy for us and really the last thing I would have expected, but circumstances brought him to this decision, and he is really excited about it.  My Dad was in the Navy/Korea era/ and LOVED it, so me and my kids, grew up hearing all the stories...I didn't really think my Son was listening...but he was :)  Would love to learn more about your family.

hi!!! how cool this site!! my name is josie, jordan's mom!! we live in matawan, NJ. my son Jordan is 20 & is very charasmatic; plays guitar and drums. I am very excited to finally connect with someone who is in his division!! his recruiter told me it's the best. i looked on online and found very admirable information about it. I am sure - positive - they are friends. so look forward to his phone call. ive been writing to him everyday - sent 3 letters today!! Recruiter said i shoudl expect a call after this week - ive been a basket case - i dont "wait" well!! i have a 21 year old college student and 2 young daughters - jordans brother & sisters - to keep me occupied yet this empty nest syndrome is more than i expected!! i cry multiple times a day! But, i know he is safe & is carving his name in the world. Keep in touch, please!
