Sure glad to have a new friend too! yes.. this is our first member of our family to be in the service at all. I have 2 uncles retired from the Air Force, but no real experience with this. This is our youngest son, he is 20. he started at the college in our town but quickly learned he was not able to take what he wanted, and would have to pay lots to so it. He was in boyscouts with a wonderful man who poured into my boys and was in the Navy for 20 years in nuke. So yep, after all those little boy complaints about how boring boyscouts was each night when they had to listen all about 3 mile island.. I now have a SR going for nuke. I have another fine son who is 22 who is in college for music ministry, he is a contempory worship leader. So both of my 2 fine sons where gone for Mother's day. No word yet.. but I am taking comfort in everyone elses words, as well as the "no news is good news" line. I'm thinking this Sunday was probably the first they were alowed and had time to write, so maybe by Wed. we will get mail.. IhopeIhope.
Are you doing ok?? I'm good a pep talks if you ever need one!
