Maybe we could meet up for lunch or dinner?
Hi, Yes I know where Modesto is...I used to live in Stockton but I'm in Sacramento now. Not too far. I see you have a month to go for PIR! Exciting! My son left to Boot camp 4/5/2011, so it will be a year for me near your PIR time. So I have some experience with all this stuff...so feel free to ask me anything. How are you doing with little or no communication with your daughter? You should be receiving letters by now?
Hi, Mz Monica, Saw that we were in the same Northern Cali group! ;-) What area are you from?
mzsmonica,
Thank you for the friend request. Yes, you are in my Moms of Daughters group and I am so glad you are with us. I'm glad to see you commenting on the group page. I haven't posted on there today but I read it everyday!!!
I've been to Modesto before. I was stationed at North Island in San Diego for 3 years and then after getting married to my sweet hubby (who was also in the Navy) we stayed in SD for a few more years!! I had a half sister living in Modesto and went to visit her. We've lost contact over the years, so I don't know where she is now!!! I'm in Waukegan right now so really just right around the corner from Great Lakes!!!! Let me know if there is anything I can help you with!!
