OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Today is the day that I have to let go and allow my daughter Katerina to transition from adolescence to adulthood. It really doesn't get any easier with the next child leaving home. It's still hard, I feel as if I'm on center stage and suddenly all the lights go out and no one even warned me. I have a hard time just saying GOOD LUCK. If I pray I feel more peace and strength in having to let go.My oldest Graduated from Marquette University 2011 second is a junior at UW Whitwater third is second year UW Waukesha. When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
I have seen a change in my daughter this past year in physical training. Her willingness and dedication to work hard towards a goal she set for herself has been amazing.
Honesty has become a value that is extreamly important to her as well as helping others. I see her so much more focused. I am so PROUD to be called a Sailor Mom.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
