Hi. My son's name is Tyler. Just got a letter today from him & he sounds like he is doing really good. So relieved because I had not heard from him since a letter written on Aug 5th. He said he has passed all inspections & tests without any hits. And kicked butt on his 2nd PFA.  I want to say if they had not passed what they needed to on Monday we would have heard about it by now. Today they were on week 5 day 3 of training. He did say a call home was doubtful as there are people in his div that like to talk. He was disappointed about that as he would love to call home. Wonder if our SR's know each other? Talk again soon.

Hi ryansmom12, I received letters today from both my daughter (ship12/div295) and stepson (ship 2/div944)! My daughter sounds so homesick it makes me want to cry! We knew this would be hard. I just wish I could hug her and tell her I love her! My son sounds less homesick...but I guess boys handle the emotional a lot differently! I hope you received a letter too!

Hi, we are staying at Courtyard by Marriott. I am also traveling with my Mom. I sent you an invite to Sarge's Meet & Greet. Hopefully I did it right. It seems there will be others from Navy For Moms that are going the night before PIR to meet. Sounds like a good time & a great place to get info. Let me know if you didn't receive & I will try again to send. It might show up in your events.

Yes 1 month from today cannot come soon enough for me. I am anxious to meet you & all the other Mom's as well. Do you plan on attending any of the Meet & greets? We are going to Sarge's.

Hi ryansmom12, My son is also Ship 12 Div 295. He left for BC on July19th too. I have received a letter, but still waiting for a much needed phone call. The people on this site are so helpful and offer so much support. They have kept me sane these first 3 1/2 weeks that my son has been at boot camp.

Hi Ryan's mom. One way is to call his recruiter.  Also, PIR dates are listed online.  Did he live with his dad, just wondering why he got the information?  Will he send you a copy?
