Hi zachsmom94, I asked my son today if he knew anyone in his division named Zach from Florida, but he didn't.  Sorry, I can't help.  I so hope you get a call soon.

So glad you got your form letter and a personal letter as well.  It really does provide a lot of details and I think we are all so excited about any information we can get our hands on.  Happy Day!!

Hi Zachsmom94- That's odd you didn't get a form letter.  You will have to get a password from your soon for the parking pass, it's on that letter.  Also, he said there is 94 people in his div. which is a lot of people for a division. My daughter only had about 71 in hers.  They had a chance to take the DEP test.  They did their physical test on Tuesday.   They did their financial stuff, direct deposit, life insurance, GI Bill.  Got eyes and ears checked.  My son said a lot of people needed to get glasses.  They got all their shots.  Cut their nails.  The first day processing was very slow, no sleep for about 48-50 hours.  Doing a lot of marching in hot weather.  Also, the div. is very talkative so they have to do a lot of PTing.  A lot of teary, red eyed SR on Saturday on the phones. :(  Hope this helps you a little.

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
