MY daughter Left For bootcamp on 03/7/2017

Hi all,

Is there any one who have son/daughter/spouse on

SHIP 03 Division 137 I can communicate with. Has anyone received a phone call from their loved one yet. I received a letter from her, with limited details. I am more concerned that I had to send her money, dont they suppose to supply them with what they need?

SR moved to RCU

Does anyone have any experience with their SR being injured and moved to the RCU? My EX received his brief call with little information to share. It's such a helpless feeling to not know how he is or how to contact him. He said his Dad would receive a form letter with info but to my knowledge he hasn't received one yet. He was set for a PIR date of May 5, 2017.

Newbie Mom PIR 4/28/17

Hello everyone,

Just joined and have been reading and enjoying all the posts and information.  Our recruiters weren't the greatest at preparing us, but I have found this place to be a great support group.  I got "the box" which actually ended up being 2 boxes and the form letter so I know that my son's PIR is 4/28/17.  I am one of those hyper-planners when it comes to reservations so I have already booked a hotel. Don't worry, I can change the dates if necessary.  I am hoping that…

Last Month

My son came home last night in his preparation for leaving April 4.  I have been watching and researching, so I believe with all the advice and articles located here, he will be ready.  Now I just have to find out which hotel in Des Moines to make reservations at.  Thirty-four days until Great Lakes.
