SHIP 10, DIVISION 260

Yay!! Finally received our first letter from our daughter today!  She is in high spirits and her letter had a great sense of humor :)   It's been a long two weeks of not knowing anything about my daughter.....Receiving her letter today and knowing she is doing okay feels like a whole ton of weight just lifted off my shoulders and I'm on top of the world!   Thank you Jesus!

Hearing from my son...

Time play tricks on us.  In some respects the time is flying by... and in others ways it is dragging.  Checking the mailbox each evening has become a special ritual.  I take a deep breath... say a short prayer... take the mail out of the box... then unhook it from the side of the house so I can peer inside to make sure I didn't miss my letter.

I got spoiled last week... two letters on Friday and two more on Saturday... none since.  Hoping tomorrow I'll get at least…

MY SAILOR DAUGHTER'S DOG

I've been reading N4M exactly since June 6, that was the day my daughter left for boot camp. The day the air became a little thinner, and the day I had to ask my higher order for strength. Some days i feel very strong and proud but then I have my downward swing where my emotions are framed with pain and very little strength. I believe this would all be different if I could speak with my daughter as those people I've spoken with on my job and in the public try and convience me it must be pretty… Continue

New to All of This blogging stuff

I should have said in my original post, his A school is there at Great Lakes so he will not be getting on a plane.  I assume he will just move out of one place and into another. His PIR is July 15.  I have seen other groups to join on other dates but not this one.
