Tears of Joy! My beautiful daughter called tonight. I screamed when I heard her voice. I put her on speaker phone - then my cell phone's battery died! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My phone decided to quit on me on the phone call that I have been longing for! Thank goodness she called again to her Daddy's phone. I had a good 6 minutes to talk. YAY!!! My daughter is alive and well! Receiving a 12 page letter does a momma's heart good! So I guess Wednesday is going to be my "letter"day. I have something to look forward to each week! She sounds good and being challenged but in a good way. My husband and I went grocery shopping and then stopped at the mailbox on the way home. I then read him the entire letter before we went inside. It made my night :)

I guess I will just have to fill her in when I write to her :)

I opened the box and had a mess of emotions. I was excited to see "her" again. I went through the box and saw tags for her new socks and sneakers. But it is also disturbing knowing that my girl I sent them was not going to be the girl that I would see in 8 weeks. I think about her every day and just about every…
