Dear N4M,
On March 15th, my fiance (then boyfriend) left for Great Lakes. Of course I cried, I missed him. I felt helpless, lost and betrayed. I cried off and on for those 2 months.
On May 7th, he PIR'ed and I cried tears of happiness. I was in his arms again and couldn't be more happy.
On May 9th, he proposed. Again, the tears of happiness. Bliss.
On May 9th, we dropped him back off at RTC and I cried tears of hurt, longing,…

I received my first letter today. My son is very upbeat and excited. He's anxiously awaiting his cart inspection because he says "I look good in the uniform". It was such a relief to hear from him because now I know that he is okay. He says h. hasn't gotten a lot of sleep but that's okay...nothing he can't handle. He's pumped for graduation and so am I .

SO, we are talking about waitng until he is done…

Well today is day 5 of Nick's boot camp in Great Lakes. As each day that goes by, I think of him more and more, just wondering how he is doing...is having any problems...etc.... Can't wait to hear from him. I know no news is good news, but come on already....time needs to speed up a little.
