Looking for some fashion advice??

Hey everyone so I need some help. My SR graduates on January 6 and I need advice as to what to wear to the graduation ceremony! I am assuming it will be really cold, but I was wondering how formal I should dress, since I feel like this is one of the most important events of his life! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!

In a great mood!!!

I unexpectedly got my first phone call from my SR yesterday!!! I was so happy when I saw "Great Lakes" on the caller ID that I started literally jumping up and down and shrieking to my roommate that it was Eric! It was so incredible to listen to Eric's voice (even though he has a cold and it didn't really sound like him), and I was so happy to finally be talking to my baby. I thought that he would have at least a half hour to talk, but he only got 13:31...we talked about everything that…

This has been a MUCH better week!

Even though Eric leaving was the hardest thing either of us has ever had to deal with, I now realize that this is the best thing that ever could have happened to us. Not only is my baby becoming a member of the best Navy in the world, where they're teaching him respect, discipline, and honor, but this has also inspired me to make some extremely positive changes in my life as well!

In the past two weeks I have already lost 5 pounds, been to the gym every single day, pulled up my grades…

A little bit frustrated, a little bit disappointed, a lot sad...

So, from all the info posted on here, it looks like my sailor isn't going to graduate until 01/06/12....I was hoping and praying for the 12/29 date, but it looks like we just missed it. This is just really hard, since I thought I was doing alright you know? I made it through the first week okay, I've been writing at least twice a day, trying to keep myself busy, and thinking, OK only 7 more weeks, I can do this! But now I just feel like someone pushed the reset button and I'm back to…

Each Day Gets A Little Bit Easier

So my fiance, Eric, left for basic training on 11/01/11. The first day after he left was honestly the worst day of my life. I could not stop crying, and his mom had to literally pull us off of each other to make him go. Watching him walk down the hall way towards his travel briefing was so traumatic, but at the same time made me so proud to see my baby taking the first step towards his dream of being a US Sailor. It's now day three, and things have gotten a little bit easier. I've stopped…
