28 days til she ships- how do I get thought this?

Hi Everyone, I was doing fine until this past saturday.  I was at my friends daughter's sweet 16, and it hit, all these emotions- all of her memories of being a teenager- I don't understand it.  I was doing so good and ended the night in tears and just couldn't stop.  Now I'm just really blah- I am really proud of her, and I'm at the point of I don't want her to make me proud, cause she already does- I want her to make herself proud-  How do I go on without my best…

2013 March Shippers

Hey everyone,

my daughter just made a group on facebook for all 2013 March Shippers. If your sons or daughters happen to have a March ship date, have them join the group. She was in an October shippers group when her ship date was originally in October and has found it to be very helpful and supportive. So don't be shy!

Well wishes for Labor Day weekend

Here it is, Labor Day weekend.. My daughter was supposed to ship out in early October, got her rating changed and now ships out in March.  I am wishing all who have a loved one shipping out soon, my heartfelt prayers, and to enjoy your last Labor Day with them-( at least for awhile)  Make it count, and try not to cry to hard...  I know until my daughter got switched to March, I couldn't look at her without crying..

Have a wonderful and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!
