For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Well it's official, HE BOUGHT HIS TICKET!! :) I'm so happyy! In 26 days he will be home just in time for Christmas. Last time I saw him was the beginning of October, which isn't a bad wait at all, but it definitely has been long enough. I cannot wait. Plus today is our 8 month which is always exciting getting to add another month onto how long we've been dating. 8 down, eternity to go

Does anyone else find it crazy that the first leave day for our boys is in less than a month and they still don't have their slips saying when they can leave for sure. To me, that just sounds ridiculous because how are they suppose to know when they can come home for sure if they don't have their for sure day or not.

Well he's been settled into California for almost 2 months now and is supposed to come home in the middle of Decemeber. He's liking it and is actually enjoying himself. So yesterday was the big day. I left home at 11 and arrived at the vistior center at 3:33. We wait 3 hours then we heard the chanting. A huge group of men and women came marching down the sidewalk. So Monday july 8, i wake up at 6 knowing todays the day im going to kiss and hug my boyfriend for the last time for 12 weeks. We may be young yes, but i truely love him.
