Daughter getting different diagnoses

I have some more questions. I heard from my daughter, she now has a
different diagnosis. First it was stress fracture of neck of femur
(shown by xray), then MRI was done and was inconclusive but she may
need surgery. then the latest was bone scan and she was told she would
not need surgery, there were no stress fractures or breaks but stress
reaction to her leg bones. She has yet to be seen by an orthopedic
doctor or any doctor.
Today she got to call me and told me she now has another diagnosis,
stress fracture of the tibia and bursitis of the hip. The first
diagnosis was done by radiologist and PA (they did not agree). Today
she was given this new diagnosis by the physical therapist and PA. She
still has not seen a doctor at all. She sounds good but I feel she is
getting the run around and I think she should write to her congressman.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. True, one can be sent to different specialists. Although I have had a different experience here in the civilian world. I had a neck injury, had x-rays, MRI and was seen by an orthopedic MD who read the radiology report, and MRI report, but also looked at the x-rays and the MRI results himself. I also had fractures of my foot and the same procedure was followed as with my neck injury.

Just very frustrating for my daughter as she was told that after the MRI and then the bone scan she would see a MD, but that never happened. Good news is that she is feeling much better now, although confused and frustrated with different diagnoses every week..
