Would my daughter get Medical or General Discharge i

My daughter may be separated from Navy Boot Camp due medical injuries. She is currently in Ship 6 recouping.
If she is separated, does anyone know if it would be a Medical or General Discharge?

She told me she may also choose to come home to recoup and then go back at a later time to Boot Camp. As a mother, I am not sure this is a good idea as I know she is skeptical that she may suffer the same injuries or worse.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, especially about the type of discharge.

Thanks

I have another question....

If my daughter decides to come home to recoup and then go back to Boot Camp, would she still get paid and/or have medical coverage?

Thanks again

I would look for your daughter to get a general discharge. If they separate her, she maybe able to return to the Navy or another branch of service at a later date depending on her discharge code.

Good luck to your daughter, I hope her recovery goes well.

one of my daughters friends was just injured at boot camp, she broke her arm and is now trying to decide if she is going to stay and recover there or go home to recover and then go back. They arrived the same day May 25th. I would love to know if you are my daughter's friends mom, please message me. I just talked to her on face book. Her name starts with an A, Thanks Lala

Lala,
I am sorry to hear about your daughters' friend. I am not her mom. It is a hard decision to make. My daughter does not like staying there for rehab. She's been on crutches for two weeks since her injury and after x-ray, MRI and bone scan, she has been given different diagnoses. She is still trying to decide if she wants to come home to recoup or stay there, recoup and then go back to boot camp. I hope your daughters' friend mends well.

I have a question, maybe someone has info. I heard from my daughter (she is at Ship 6) and she is recouping very slowly. She asked if I could find out who she should talk to about coming home to recoup from her leg injury or stay there to recoup and then go back into boot camp.
