OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Trying to see if I can figure out what happened.  Are you trying this from a desktop or from a phone?

Comment by Phoenixmom on December 28, 2018 at 7:24pm

I find working on my Phone is quite hard cant copy paste or do any of that, but I can reply. Hmmmm.

Is it still not working for you? I know there is sometimes a delay in the reply screen completely loading. If that is what's happening, close your browser and try again.

I am not an ADMIN, but it happens every now and then, but I had forgotten until just now that I used to have that problem every now and then when I used IE and I would have to sign in on Mozilla Firefox. Now I have a Chromebook and I have not had the problem. If you have the option of signing in on a different browser, then try that and see if it works. See anyone have problems emailing on N4M's? and message/mail.

Hi! I have been signing in on Chrome on the same computer from the beginning. Let me try to see if it's fixed.

Sadly, it is STILL not working. I'll try from a different browser.

What exactly is your computer doing when you try to send a private message?

Comment by Amanda on December 31, 2018 at 1:23pm
Nothing, it will let me write it, but when I go to hit send it won't allow me to. It doesn't pop up an error or refresh. It just simply won't send.

That is the problem that others and I had a few years ago when I had to change browsers. Try deleting the cookies for the site and sign in again.
