I got to relieve some of my stress and anxiety today. I went with my in-laws to the gun range.
I love going shooting.
I remember the first time I went I was so nervous to even think about touching a gun.
But now I enjoy it. My comfort level has increased greatly over the last few trips to the range and
I have moved up from only shooing 22's to shooting a 9mil and 40 cal.

The smaller holes are from the 22 that my mother-in-law shot before I got to the target.
I was using the 9 and the 40 which are the larger holes (mostly in the green and black). I didn't do too bad today!
Pretty proud of myself! And it felt sooooo good to take all my stress out on the target!

Now maybe I can relax a bit. Only 24 days to go!!
When Thursday gets here we will only have 3 weeks to go!

Very cool! At some point after DH is done with training I am looking forward to taking a gun safety class and learning to shoot!

It can be scary at first, before I met my husband I had never shot a gun before, but his family is big into it. The more I go the more comfortable I get. It really is a good way to destress... you just have to be smart about it and know what you are doing. I am slowly learning the more confidence you have the better off you are.
