Hi All, I don't know how this is all going to play out- she's nervous and excited can't sleep- I can't sleep cause I'm nervous and scared for her- Her going away party on Saturday was a huge success- we all had a great time- and alot of touching moments. But for me- I feel like I have to keep a brave face on and not cry and I feel like I can't talk to anyone about it cause I cry.. I'm thinking taking next monday tuesday and wednesday off was a good idea- My blue candle is ready for bs21 and for whenever I think of her- which means I better go out and get more. Tonight we're going to go get her haircut so it'll look decent instead of BC chopping it off- I guess it doesn't get any realer than that...she has such beautiful hair.. This has been the hardest year- trying to let her goo.. and it's been rough, and it's hitter harder everyday-
K- enough cause I'm at work and the tears are starting-- Fair winds and Following seas to all!

I've just mainly kept quiet and read everything. I've seen the video's and read all the discussions. at one point I was on here all the time- addicted. lol-
Love my sailor- Were making all the memories we can with her- my niece is a navy wife so I do understand were your coming from She's still only 18 and is book smart not street smart- she thinks she knows it all- scares me to death.. She has waited a year to ship out- it's been long and draining on me.. my heart is breaking, but I know I have to let her go and spread her wings- I have to trust it'll all be ok- with recent posts I will not put religion into this-
Fair winds and following seas to all!
proudmama, yes, MA is a rating that is dear to me since I have an MA. He reenlisted last year and plans to make the Navy his career, so I'll be around for a while. You are putting her in the best hands of all--those of God and the US Navy.
