I received another letter from my son. It was much shorter since he didn't have to rest his leg. He said that tomorrow he should no his rate in the nuke program. I asked the Nuke moms how they decide. It is as the Navy Needs. A sorting hat was suggested which lead to my daughter going off a tale about and Magic Navy Hat that reads my sons thoughts. She said she hopes he chants "not Slytherin" so he can have Gryffindor instead.
He is tired but good. He told his dad he keeps moving between this is easy and this is hard. He did say he wished his division would wise up. He is tired of punishments. He did his Pre-PT test and missed his run time by 20 seconds. They have him in a run clinic. He was been asking for that since the beginning, he gets his wish. His leg doesn't bother him but he keeps pushing himself as fast and as far as he can so he is sore. He continues to shrink and says he never been in better shape.
This is posting thursday evening so I have 3 weeks left, then I see my SR.
Semper Fortis Stay Strong Keep Fighting
Kbpoohbear that is some fantastic news, I am so excited he is on his way, its been a long haul for him but he is where he has fought to be. Let him know we are all routing and sending prayers his way. I can't imagine how happy, excited and proud you must feel. Way to go! That is what the Navy needs determined young Men who know what they want. Wishing him the best!
Kbpoohbear - All the best for your son!! I can understand him being frustrated with others who aren't willing to wise up and learn to fall in line.
