Yes.  I heard of a mom whose son called her for Valentines day.  Her assigned name is ilace16 or something like that.  She mentioned that they talked for about 15 minutes.

But I have not heard my son's voice since the day he arrived there.  I know he was sick for a couple of days, with vaccines.  I received a letter where he told me, last thursday.

My son is in the same ship and division as yours, Michael's Mom.  This lady that received the phone call is on the same ship but division 121, I think she said.

@ OLGA, I sure hope you hear from your SR soon :) I spoke to my son the night arrived and since then I've received one and one letter... My son said he was sick, but he said alot of the recruits are so not to worry... his only worry was if he got really sick he would have to go to medical and depending on what happens there, he would not want his PIR pushed back if they put him on best rest or something ??? Other than that he said it's hard but he's pushing through it : ) I read on here from one of the veteran Moms that it is possible to receive calls in the middle of the as well so keep your phone close : ) My phone is attached to me AT ALL TIMES : ) The only time I put it down is when I go to bed and it's charging, and even then it's right next to me on my night stand : ) KEEP THE FAITH OLGA ♡

You are so welcome Mychael's mom. We are getting closer and closer to seeing our boys. I don't count the days. I mark them off the calendar. I count the Fridays. Seems to help some.
