The clock is running out. I'm overwhelmed with emotions about seeing him. My boyfriend graduates from bootcamp this Friday. He has been gone for 7 weeks now. I got very lucky and his graduation is earlier than most. I haven't talked to him since August 30. He told me normally they would allow them to call more, but the division he is in is very disrespectful and "phone calls are a privelege, not a right". I get a letter every week and sometimes twice a week. I keep thinking about how close I am to seeing him. I have been waiting about 48 days so far for this. But it still hasn't hit me quite yet. Maybe it will once I finally get to Chicago or maybe it won't hit me until I finally see him.

I'm so nervous about the silliest things. One of my friends boyfriend is in the Army and she said once he graduated from bootcamp he came out different, but different as in a good way. The new and improved. Haha. I'm a little nervous about that. I know it sounds so crazy for me to be nervous about, but I liked him just the way he was, I don't want him to change. Another thing I worry about is that he won't love me anymore, another ridiculous thought, considering that every letter I get starts off with saying how much he loves and appreciates me. I hope all this anxious feelings are some what regular. I just haven't seen him for so long and I miss him like crazy.

For graduation I got him a little something. :) I got him The Carter Four which I know he will be excited for. About a year ago, I made him all The Carter cds and now I decided to buy this one. Also I got him a beautifully designed book with all my Senior Pictures in it. It was done on online scrapbook so it looks very professional and on every page is another line from the Love Chapeter 1 Corinthians 13. Also I have a book full of pictures of us that I made for him to remember all the great times we had. I also have a little picture frame with a picture of him and I from the day he left. The frame has the words "Love never fails..." written on it. This is all together put into a Spiderman bag. For whoever is reading this, you probably think that is terribly immature, but my boyfriend loves all those Marvel movies and I always got so made at him when he made me watch them. But last but not least is the card I drew for him. Drawing him cards is another tradition of mine. On this card it has a picture of  Popeye the Sailor and Olive Oyl. :) Very fitting.

But I should start packing and get my stuff ready to go. The big day is coming.
