OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Update on Yvonne's Myelogram procedure

Update on Yvonne's Recovery...

On the 19th of October Yvonne had a CT Myelogram of her back to find out what is happening that may have caused the set back she experienced in her recovery about six weeks ago. We went to OBICI Hospital in Suffolk for the earliest appointment we could get. The procedure was very painful for her. But she got through it. Last week we saw Dr. Shuff, her surgeon, and he said she got "high marks" on her myelogram. It was clear, with no impingements. However, they didn't get the very top of the area where he operated. The top vertebrae. So he is sending her in for an MRI of that vertebrae to see if there is any impingement at that level or the one above where he operated that might be causing these symptoms. So again, please pray that we will be able to get an appointment soon. She has a lot of pain when she walks and often has trouble moving her feet and lifting her legs high enough to get them over the threshold coming into the house. So if you would, please pray for us. We are still holding on to and believing for God to restore her to health and heal her wounds! (Jeremiah 30:17). I have to admit, this is really hard. We didn't expect that it would take this long, and that she would still be in this much pain.
