Hi, sorry i haven't responded sooner, I've been trying to keep myself busy. We made our travel arrangements. My husband, daughter, me, and my brother and his family are going to fly out of Houston, with continental about $200 round trip. That will be an adventure in itself my borther and his wife have twin girls 3 mo old. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Deerfield. I think Travelocity had the best prices. Got a letter from Jacob last Thursday, he seems good, said they ate grilled salmon for dinner last Sunday. I hope they get to write tomorrow. I hope you are doing well, talk with you later...... take care

Hi, Navywife, have you gotten your call yet? I hope so, it was so nice to hear "J's" voice.. We only got about 5 min, I've seen other posts that got 20 mins. So hang in there and be strong.
Have you started arranging your travel plans?

My son, Jake said that he's in with 72 guys and that they're all great. Sounds like they're all doing good. I miss my son so bad, I can only imagine how it must feel to have your husband there. My heart goes out to you. I don't think I could do it. I really need my husband with me daily. You are one strong woman.

Oh i Know me too!!! I have never been so excited for a Monday to come.. Some of the people from our division already got their letters on Saturday.. oh btw, don't feel bad that you havent gotten that phone call.. there might be a few reasons why he wasnt able to call.. he might have been on watch, dental procedure, or just plain studying and making sure everything is in order for inspection... so yeah hang in there!

Hi NavyWife86! My son Erik is also on Ship 3 Div 139 --- and I have not heard from him yet except a few lines on the form letter I got. The only thing he said on that was "this place kind of sucks" ... lol ... but the rest was very upbeat. :) I will let you know anything I hear from him and I hope you will do the same for me! I don't know how many are in that group --- but for all we know they know each other ... lol. Take care and hang in there!! At least you know you will be together again before you know it ... I used to be a military spouse too :)

Thanks Tina!! Yeah that's what I've been told about A school that they can at least have their cell phones so that 11 weeks won't be quiet as bad!! This website is SOOO helpful. There are so many nice people on here. I even find a girl whose boyfriend is in my husband's division!! My brother in law is in the Navy and he has been helping me out a lot! I just stress so much because the girl I was talking to told me that her boyfriend got to call her Friday because he did well on a test so know I'm freaking out thinking "Oh my goodness does that mean me husband isn't doing that great?!?!" See I'm a very big worry wart!! I just really hope that he's doing well and that he's ok. When does your husband graduate from A school? So you guys don't know where he will be stationed at then yet?
