Thanks Pat, My husband & I are at Pearl Harbor right now visiting our son for the week. Still trying to adjust to jet lag, from NY. Was up at 4am this morning at the hotel , so wanted to check my e-mails, before they pile up & saw that my other son in Dijoubi, had sent some pix of himself wth other marines from his platoon, so that was a nice surprise. Thanks for that web site, I will definitely check it out.

Hi Pat, I wrote a message on the Mollys Adopt A Sailor discussion page but I don't know if I did it right. I just wanted to let someone know I could do 8 of those little boxes that go into the bigger box. Also I was wondering if there were any others down where I am at the shore area in NJ so I could get together with them and help. Thanks hopefully I will get the hang of this computer stuff soon. lol

My son left last week, and it appears that he will have PIR the week of Thanksgiving, or if they didn't fill a division the week after.  I am still waiting (very impatiently) for the letter.  This is so much harder than I anticipated.  But, if PIR is the week of Thanksgiving, do you have any idea on whether they get more time before they fly to A school?

thanks Pat, I am friends with Whit's mom, so I was keeping up to day, funny, I would get people's comments back to her, but not her original message, maybe it will be better now!

My son just left yesterday for boot camp in NF.  I am looking for something to keep me a little more occupied, and this looks like a great place to start.  Thanks!

Thanks so much, Pat! I've met you at a meet-n-greet at Olive Garden in Bloomington over a year ago--just in case you can't remember, like me. :D I will offer her the option and see what she wants to do. She's 27, so it's not like she's a little 18-year-old getting around. But she's my baby.

Hi Pat,

Thank you for the email.  Are there any groups in Northern CA (Sacrament area)?  Hoping there is a group here that I can join up with or get the info I'll need to start up a group in this area.

What about the single addresses that are out there?  Are they in need of care packages or just cards and letters of encouragement?    Kathy

HI Pat, thanks for emailing me back.  I did find the address (FC2 N. Martin).  What form do I need for customs?  Then we can fill it out, just want to make sure I get it right.  Thx for your help!

Thank you for the welcome!  Hopefully I won't have too many questions.  Just saw your comment from October (!)...sorry. Yes, my son is going to be a Nuke, if all goes well for him.  He leaves for BC May 1st; it's been a long wait.  Thankfully, with the Navy for Moms groups I have been "learning" from, I think I am ready.  I know he is ready!

First Molly's box on it's way to the USS Gonzalez.  I've already shipped 3 to my son which he has received one already. I think I'll do one a month just in care of the Molly group.
