i didnt realize how hard it would be to have kandie gone. it helps knowing others feel the same way. i didnt have much warning she was going to join. i still expect her to come walking through my door.i too have struggles and hope it gets easier.i try not to think a hole lot about her being gone or i seem to cry  :(  it is hard going from seeing her everyday to not seeing her at all.i was told it will get easier when we can  get letters from her.and when they say try to keep busy that is the key. i am very proud of my daughter.i hope God is watching out for her, as i know he is. just hang in there we will make it through this.soon we will get to see them in there uniforms and enjoy the short time we hve with them. hope you had a good day!

Hello!  I sat down and wrote Justin a letter the first night.  I'll write him another one tonight and I'm writing the numbers on the back.  Hopefully he'll notice and read them in order.  So far I'm doing better than expected.  I have one graduating High School this weekend and have been keeping very busy.  I think that's helped a lot.  I will really hit once this is over and things start to slow down.

Sorry it took so long to respond.  Every time someone comments it sends me an email.  I can't figure out which option that is to make it stop.  So i missed the email that actually said I had message.  I'm not used to going to "My Page".  :)  I'll figure it all out soon.

I hope you're having a better day!  I'm thinking about you and Erin too.

Thanks.  It was great meeting your family as well.  I'm trying to get this website all figured out.  I knew you commented yesterday because of my email, but couldn't find it until now.  :)  So far I joined the Boot Camp group.  I'm not sure what other ones I should join right now.  I haven't had a lot of time to spend on it yet.  Any suggestions?

It is going to be such a pleasure to be able to share Erin's adventures. I can hardly wait and I only hope she knows how proud we all are of her!

We have a Survival Guide for Navy For Moms Newbie (clickable link). You'll find everything you need to get started. Videos, PDF files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient. Best part is it'll be here on your very own page as a reference. Click the MY PAGE tab on above menubar to access your page anytime - you should do it at least once a day to see if you have any postings on your comment wall (like this one). Good luck.
