Francine, I see you have changed your Username so that it no longer contains your last name; you also need to change the URL to this page. Make change 2 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link) to take care of that. (If you are using a Smart phone, you will need to switch to Desktop View to make this change.) Also make change 3 while you are there so that this page is no longer open to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web. There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes. Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP code to one that is not easily associated with your Sailor.
I'm not sure what others will say, but I send my daughter chocolate. I did during the 3 years she was in and I still do to the Bush. M&Ms will be fine. One Halloween I asked for requests and gave them everything from smarties, skittles, tootsie rolls and whatever kind of chocolate they requested. Don't think I send a box without some kind of cookie(s) that has chocolate in them.
I don't think the style of the wallet matters. Not even sure about the color having to be black since it is "hidden" and not outside their uniform. Why not consider shopping with your sailor after PIR and let him pick it out? That way, you can be sure that he gets what he wants???
Just a thought! They have a nice big mall there (Gurnee) and there are other stores....and if you decide to go into Chicago, there are even more selections!
I just sent the info to you in a friend request, I think? Did you get it? If so, don't hit ACCEPT or the info I sent will disappear! Let me know if you didn't get it!
Hey frandnavy. My girl is 12/167. She's a nuke. What will you son be doing for A? By any chance, will you be staying at navy lodge? Would love to meet you then. Until then take care and bless our Sr's!
So glad to hear you found it I was just passing on info someone gave me I guess they are told to them them in their shoe. Still waiting on my form letter maybe tomorrow
I received my form letter yesterday and his box today. I have a question for anyone, my sons cell phone was not in his box, the charger, case for the phone were and i found the phone battery in the bottom of the box. I double check everything in the box again and no phone. I called his recruiter and he said to just write my son and ask him if he kept the phone. But very strange to have a phone with no battery, has anyone else have this issue?
Received the box today. I thought you might want to know because you may get yours today. I received his large envelope with his papers in it will you please let me know if you receive the same I'm concerned that this was a mistake
frandnavymom-I received my call about the same time 9:57. I see some of the others received their boxes, that arrived the day before on 3/4. I was really hoping to get mine today. I guess our sons will have the same PIR date. I am so happy to have found this website it has helped so much with all the questions. I have been on here for 3 days reading and reading lol anything to take my mind off missing my son

What is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty) and/or where is he stationed (what vessel, if one)? There may be groups I can direct you to
You may also want to edit your "About me:" section.
