Hi Kelly--thanks for looking at my pictures..I didnt realize how old i look until i saw some of the pics from PIR...uugghhhh!! Its creeping up fast..lol
I just started to figure FB out, there are 4/5 of us N4M's on there, and every once in a while, we share a pic or comment...My info to find me is Janet Miller Greater Latrobe High School 1982..hope to see you over there. ..:))
Kelly===your son is ADORABLE!!!! Dont they all look so handsome in there uniforms??
All grown up.
Hi Kelly (correct?)! We are driving to Great Lakes from Mpls, MN. It's about an 8 hour drive. We won't be able to leave Mpls until my oldest son is done with his night class around 10:00 pm. We will be good and tired during PIR. I made our reservations today at the Ramada.
As for the clock, it was a whole lot of trial and error. I will get back to you on the directions once I remember what I did. :)
Hi Kelly, my name is Jan. Is saw your son is in the same ship/div. as mine Ship11 Div.061.
For some reason, its so exciting to hear of moms who are in with our sons! I got my form letter today and it had three sentences on the bottom from him. OMG, i could almost see him writing them. :) he sounded like he was in a good mood (i could tell because he made a joke). lol Which made me feel so much better, not hearing a WORD for two weeks was a killer.
Angela and Kim are the other two moms in our group. I dont know if you heard anything from them yet? I wrote him a letter and mentioned their sons names to him in case they know each other , thought it might give them something in common or something to talk about (even though i heard they dont get to do much talking) :( You can contact me at any time if you want to chat about anything. Nice to hear from you. ttyl
I totally agree with you on that. But I learned this from reading other posts. My son told me if you leave letters out that you get from friends/family the RDC's may read them. He said that the letters need to be put in some box they get. It is horrible that they read personal property and turn around and make fun of the recruit.
