My call was 3 weeks and 3 days after he left. Now my son had P days for 12 days. But he still called at 3 weeks and 3 days. It was a rough call though. And it was short only about 5 minutes.

Whst time of day did he call? Wonder if it's same time frame for everyone?
My son’s group lost their three week phone call privilege and I just heard from him yesterday for the first time since the arrival call. (Left Aug 23rd) It was awful waiting but I wish I would have known that it was possible I wouldn’t get a call and all would be fine. So my prayer is that you get that call but if you don’t. Try not to panic.
I think each division gets an hour time frame. Ours was Saturday between 1-2 central time. Which was 2-3 eastern time. When they call the first time time. They will call the same time frame the next time which is usually about 2 weeks later.
Yes that's true!! Remember phone calls are a privilege and it can be taken away so be flexible and remember no new is good news. If something goes wrong. Your SR will call and tell you!
Thank you for sharing this information. I would have been crushed and worried if I dont hear from him on week 3.

Countrymom- the division will get a time frame, it's usually an hour window. But they have to march to the phones and if they are not marching well they keep stopping them. The hour window gets smaller the longer it takes them to get it right. At least that is what happened to my son's division. I have heard that some didn't get that 3 week phone call. That would have been traumatic for me. Even though my phone call was only 5 minutes long and I cried after it because he sounded so beaten down. BUT!!! It gets better I promise!! They grow and mature very quickly and next phone call which is usually the same time frame as the first but it's a much better call. It's a tough rollercoaster ride of emotions but  you will get there. Every stage is there is something new to learn. Hang in there. The N4M's site as well as the support from facebook sites have been a huge help in getting through this period!! :))
