I sent my son's proof of coverage document into our HR department. I have asked them to provide any information that I will be required to provide to remove my son from the policy. I think I will ask if we have an appeal process!
Happyone00 I just cant believe they just don't take our word, I have not been there yet but at the end of this month is my renewal, I hope they don't give me the runaround. This all seems so pity. I'm hoping I get my letter soon though, I don't have the patience to deal with nonsense. Hope all goes well keep me informed and I will do the same and let you know what they tell me. Fingers crossed! Have a Great Day!
I am so frustrated with the whole mess. I will chalk this up to a $500 mistake. I should have notified my HR department within 60 days - no exceptions is what they are telling me. Good luck with your situation! :-)
What do you mean? you have to continue carrying him?
Yes, through the end of the year. I can drop him during open enrollment.
oh ok, I thought you were going to have to continue on.....My open enrollment is at the end of this month....Keeping my fingers crossed. I am sorry to here about the problems...They need to make it easier for us parents since everything is so hush hush.
Yep! I am glad we have this platform to share info - Have a great day!
You also, I will keep you posted if anything comes back to me on my open enrollment.
