Hi - my son leaves for boot camp on 11/20/17.  He wanted to leave right after he enlisted, but this is the date he was given.  It's good in a way as he has more time to prepare, but he really just wants to get started.  If anyone else has a loved one  leaving for boot camp this November, please feel free to respond.  It would be nice to go through this process together!

Hi Ladies, welcome to the site and congrats to your Loved One following his/hers Dream. On boot Camp for MOMs you ladies will learn what to expect when they arrive, their are Ladies that feel the same way you will be feeling. It is a very emotional rollercoaster of a ride and I am sure you all will be feeling that at some point in time. If you all ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out. I was there not to long ago...My son Graduated Sept. 1st and is attending Great Lakes A School...He will be a EM..I can direct you to many sites that you may want to look at and believe me there is a lot of info to be found. Great Day Ladies and Again welcome to this site.

My daughter arrived at boot camp Nov. 8 I got the arrival call @ 11:33 pm. I got the scripted phone call but managed to sneak in a quick I love you. I miss her terribly. I don’t know what comes next but I am anxious to find out. Why are people arriving @ boot camp so close to Christmas. I heard my daughters graduation could be moved up because of that reason. Anybody have insight on that?
By counting 9 Fridays, PIR will most likely be 01/05/2018. It cannot be before that since there is no PIR in either of the two weeks before that.
Melissa, Check your My Page.
T minus 7 days and counting. Almost can’t believe it’s so close.

Hi all,

My daughter is on the plane as we speak to Great Lakes and I'm in tears :(  So proud of her though.  I spoke to her recruiter yesterday who swore up and down that she would graduate either 12/15 or 12/29 and NOT in January because she'd be in a push division....but I'm not sure I buy this. Why would she give out that information if false?  I'm looking at January 12th for PIR, based on information I received elsewhere....too much information overload...

shadiya526 count 9 Fridays and that will be her PIR if in a push Div. then it will be 8 Fridays here are some sites for information.
