Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My husbands recruiter called me this evening with the anticapted graduation date for him. It’ll be Jan. 26th!! His training group is 12. Not sure what division yet.

Proud Mom, http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/tg_grad_dates.html indicates Divisions 061, 062, 063, 064, 065, 066, 067, 068, 069, 070, 911, 805 for January 19, 2018 and Divisions 071, 072, 073, 074, 075, 076, 077, 078, 079, 080, 912, 806 for January 26, 2018.

No it’s not just you. I’m there with you. I received my first phone call on December 9th. We talked for 30 minutes but he began to cry when it was time to hang up. Just broke my heart. Thank God his PIR is January 19th. Division 063.

I hope this has been straightened out for you.  My daughter also left Nov 27.  Form letter stated Jan 26th would be graduation.  Made all the arrangements and then received notice it was actually Jan 19th.  Now having trouble making arrangements in one hotel.  I will just be happy to see my girl!

My son is also is Ship 12 DIV 070

Anyone know any more info about that date mess up?? I haven’t heard of that.
