Can anyone help me out with finding out dates to expect for graduation for my son he left on January 22im new to all this.

Typically, if you count 9 Friday’s from your son’s arrival date will be the estimated PIR date. So it will possibly be on March 23rd.
The Boot Camp weeks are all about waiting. You'll get "the box" soon, if you haven't already. Have you read about that? Around 10 to 14 days after he shipped, you'll get "the letter!" The letter will tell you several very important things. Put the letter somewhere safe. You may want to keep it forever, but you definitely want to keep it until after that graduation. The letter tells you what his division is, how many people will be allowed to attend his graduation, and what his planned PIR (graduation, aka Pass In Review) date is. During Boot Camp (BC), it's possible that things will happen that slow him down and change that date, so you have to remind yourself that it is not guaranteed. Right now, the best you can do is a rough guess because there's no way to know how long his processing lasted until you get the letter. Mid to late March is as close as I would dare to guess.
My son's been in just under a year. I still remember the confusion and nervousness the whole time he was in BC, and I wish there was more I knew to tell you. There are some sites with more information along with lots of other people on this site with much more knowledge than I have. I'm adding a couple of links, but don't be surprised if no amount of info feels like enough. The Navy Dads site has some good reading, too. Good luck to your son and peace to you while you wait.

Good morning,
My son's PIR was 5/11/18. He remained at Great Lakes for A School. Other than the Great Lakes Q and A page is there a general group for those who remained at Great Lakes?
Thank you.
Stillmybaby have you joined the Great lakes facebook gives you all the updates and new photos. Training Support Center (TSC) Great Lakes usually the ceremonies are short and fast but your son can give you the information. Hope this helps. I followed this when my son was in A school there.
Hello Stillmybaby, My son also attended A school at Great Lakes also. There are many groups for you to join. I joined AECF-FC's and ET's. It all depends on what your son is going to school for. He was very active at A School, and has made a lot of friends. Best of Luck. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
